Description
You see on the map where you want to go, and you want the quick route there. Just touch the destination to provide an option to route there.

Status
Implemented in version 6.2 software. Long tap to get a navigation dialog. You can then navigate to that location and/or make it a favorite.

Implemented in 6.2 via drop pin and navigate.
I agree. The feature is available in Google Maps and on many portable GPS units.
