Selectable Music from iPhone

Description

It would be nice to be able to view what albums are stored on an iPhone connected via Bluetooth or USB and play a selected entire album or track. Today, all you can do is get random tracks! That is particularly annoying for classical music in which multiple tracks (movements) are related.

Competitive/Pricing/Notes

This is already available with music stored on a USB stick. You can select albums, individual songs, etc. Random track play was added around 2015. The iPhone itself may be the limiting factor, depending on how ‘nice’ they are willing to work. Being a non-open design, it’s likely solutions for working better with the iPhone would have to be provided by Apple.
