Status
I believe the fan button size was increased in v10 software. In addition, you can use the voice commands “increase fan”, “decrease fan”, and “fan to X” where X is a number from 1 to 10.

Agree. I also find it to be a too high workload task to adjust the fan speed on the HVAC system. A different solution could be to implement a '+' and '-' button to the left and to the right of the fan control slider. This could allow for easier incremental adjustment of fan speed. The conept of increase/decrease buttons should be implmented on all slider controls available on the display screen. Examples of this is the equalizer audio controls, and the display system lighting intensity control.
