I try to keep my speed to 1 MPH less than 10 MPH over the limit. snapping to multiples of 5 would make that very hard to do. I would like some way to fine tun the MPH after jumping to multiples of 5

I like the current system way better than what is being suggested here. I get +/- 1 or +/- 5, perfect.

There are already 2 choices for cruse control - a slight press (or tap) will increment by +1, -1.  A full press (or tap) will increment by +5/-5.  So, start at 63, +1, +1, +5, takes you to 70.  Seems good enough for me.

Mod, this is incorrectly marked as implemented. It is not.

The current implementation goes up 5mph from whatever mph you are at - so, if you are going 63, it bumps you to 68. I was suggesting that the next bump be to 65, then 70, etc., which is the behavior on most other luxury cars.
I agree with hey_Ross, and I want to support/one-up this suggestion. The feature as requested is not implemented as of FW 5.8.

How is this desired feature different from the standard feature already in all Model S cars?  Perhaps I'm missing something?
