Description
When the fob or phone key is detected, allow a leg swipe behind the rear camera to automatically release the trunk or liftgate.

Enables convenient opening when your hands are carrying stuff and you cannot easily grab your keyfob, phone key or trunk button.
Some automakers include this feature in some models.
Moderator: It would require the AP processor to remain on, but it is already on if Sentry Mode is enabled. The AP processor consumes about 1 mile of range per hour of use, so it may better to design a separate, low power system.

This is a convenience feature, a real big convenience.
Approaching the car with hands full of grocery bags, it is a pain to have to stop and put them down to push the trunk handle. Especially when bags get dirty or wet.
It seems strange for Tesla not to have this, when many competitors do, also on cheaper cars (sensor-based and not camera-based, but camera-based seems the Tesla way).
