Description

Offer Inductive phone charging in the Model S and X similar to the Model 3.

Wireless charging now standard in some of the newest cars being released, and QI appears to be the most common standard being used.

Status

The mid-2021 S now offers 4 inductive charging slots, with 2 in front and 2 for the rear seat passengers.  The X has at least 2 inductive chargers.

Was disappointed that you have to remove the phone case to get it to work.  I simply unplugged it to give me another USB port.

Model 3 doesn't come with inductive phone charging. You have to add an aftermarket device.
