From the app, set the scheduled charging time.

The app only has an option to start charging immediately. Add an option to schedule charging from the app just like from the screen inside the car. I’m overseas right now, our Model 3 is in the airport car park connected to a 13A outlet, charged to 90% (since 100% is bad for the battery). I wish I could now tell it to start charging to 100% at 10 am so it’s full when I arrive. My current workaround is to ask my wife back home to do it.

From Thomas: I have a variable rate on my electricity, based on the wholesale rate. Tomorrow’s rates are announced each evening at 5 pm. I’d like to be able to set the scheduled start-time from the app to save walking to the car.

Individual departure times (charge ready + potential heat up) for each day of the week would be perfect.

This will have to be made available in the app as well as on the screen.

Yes, please! I'm an airline pilot on long haul. I leave the car plugged in for several days in the personnel parking lot and set it to 70%. I want to be able to set a charge start time from abroad so it's at 100% when I get back. Right now I have to use my wife as a charging controller (she manually starts charging using her app at the correct time)

I would like to schedule the start and stop for charging.  We just switched to RTOU electricity.  There are certain times we need to charge the car and during peak hours do not want to charge it.  It would be great to schedule charging so from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM during the Winter and then have a Summer schedule if possible.  The peak hours change during the Summer and Winter.  You could save two different charging schedules and then select the one the one that you want to use a particular time.
