Many cars have parking permits and/or parking receipts stuck to the window, this is just so ugly. A neat function would be an “e-ink” screen inside the window in the dash visible from the outside.

Many times you are able to pay the meter with your phone. This could be visible in-app and with a function to prolong your stay without going back to the car. It could even be location-based so when you’re at home your home permit is showing and when you at work your working permit would be possible.
