Description
When the sun is low on the horizon and directly in front of you, the AP camera cannot handle it (although to be fair, most humans have difficulty too). Improve the design so AP can remain active.
Competitive/Pricing/Notes
I can drive my car towards the sun; I want TACC/Autopilot/FSD to be able to too. A visor is indispensable for times of the year when the sun stays on the horizon for several hours. Maybe we can mimic that for the cameras.
Build-in an LCD panel in front of the cameras to selectively block out the sun. It would act like a movable sun-shade reducing the glare and hopefully making TACC/AP/FSD more reliable in this situation.
This will require additional hardware and add cost to the vehicle.
