Description

Have a dashboard indicator that tells me when hill start assist is engaged.

Recently had situations where I wasn’t sure hill start assist was working. Would have liked a visual indicator.

Status

With v7 software, there is a “(( H ))” icon indicator when brake hold is on (renamed from Hill Hold).

Already implemented in v7.0 shows ((H)) in upper right of dashboard. Version 6.2 also had this feature, showed "hold" at top centre of dash.

I believe 'Hill Assist' became 'Hill Hold', in this version of software.
Firmly press the brake pedal for x amount of seconds.
Version 7.0 - October 16, 2015 (2.7.56) "Skynet".
(If you still want 'Hill Assist', just lightly press the brake pedal. It will let go in x amount of seconds.)

Definitely need this. We park on a slope, and when starting up in the morning frequently roll back as the hill start doesn't engage until a few seconds after the car is started
