Enable Park Assist to Detect Curbs

Description

Park Assist sensors apparently do not scan low enough to detect typical curbs and parking berms. It should detect curbs that might be too high, based on the ride height.

While we’re not aware of any car manufacturer’s parking assist that detects curbs, there are third-party products to specifically detect curbs.

Status

With the Model S/X HW2.0 and later (late 2016) the longer-range ultrasonic sensors also detect some curbs and will display a “STOP” warning when you are too close. It’s not perfect, so we are not going to call it implemented yet.
