Show Song info via Bluetooth

Description

I would like to see song information such as the album cover, name, artist, etc. displayed like it does when you play local files from your phone or USB. When using Spotify on my phone the artist/album/song info doesn’t display in the Tesla music app.

Competitive/Pricing/Notes

It is unknown if this is even possible, as it’s unclear if music services like Spotify send this information via Bluetooth along with the audio stream.

Status

Implemented for a long while.  Perhaps in 2013.

Yes, iPhone displays all song info via Bluetooth.

Already implemented in some applications on the phone. iPhone does this using iTunes. Android does this using at least Rocket Player and BeyondPod, just to name two.
