Blank-Screen option for Display

Description
The Instrument Console has a “blank” screen option available on both the left and right sides. I would like a similar option for the main 17″ screen, especially at night. It should be both half-screen and full-screen, just like most of the other apps.

Status
This feature has been implemented in version 5.0 software.
We’ve also created a webpage you can enter and save to favorites, which displays a dark screen:

This suggestion is closely related to Touch Screen Clean Mode. Maybe the two should be merged and votes accumulated?
