AWD Rear Motor Only Option for Drifting

Offer an option to turn off the front motor on AWD cars for “sport” driving, drifting, etc.

Status

For normal driving, Tesla automatically selects the rear, front, or both motors as needed for traction, performance, and to increase range.  The Model 3 Performance also has a Track Mode feature which allows you to drift.
