Provide a larger visor to better block the sun, especially for shorter drivers/passengers.

Perhaps Tesla could come up with a better and more high-tech sunshade. It is small, barely provides shade against blinding sunlight either in front or on the side. Also difficult to pull out. Why don’t car manufacturers make this electronic? To accommodate a vanity mirror, they have compromised the use of clear tinted plastic-like materials that could provide better shade. The mirror could be easily positioned elsewhere.

Status

New cars in 2015 are shipping with the new larger visor, and retrofits may be available in early 2015 for all existing Model S cars.
