When going into reverse, auto-tilt the mirrors down to better see the curbs.

Particularly when purchased new, it can be difficult to gauge the proper distance to the curb. With the 21″ wheels, there is no tire buffer and any contact with the curb will result in wheel damage. I scraped the right rear and my wife made it a matching pair on the front.

Status

This feature was first available with the Tech package around 2014.  You first set the mirror position while in reverse and it saves that position to your profile. This feature is now standard on all new Tesla vehicles.
