Description

When vehicle’s security alarm goes off, a smartphone notification is sent (great). The notification should include the reason for the alarm – front driver door opened or roof intrusion.

I let my wife into the closed car without the key, but the alarm kept on ringing after a few minutes of nothing. It was so annoying, but I didn’t know why it would alarm. To remind me there are people in the car? because a door was not closed properly?

Moderator: While unconfirmed, we believe in the USA, only a door open will trigger the alarm. Europe has an additional security option for pano roof intrusion detection.

Status

Implemented.  It now can identify if the alarm was triggered or sentry mode triggered as well as if the trunk, frunk, or door is open.
