Regarding the Auto-Doors, what is the maximum distance between the FOB And the car for the feature to work?
Using the fob button I’ve had success at locking/unlocking at 50 feet, but that’s with the FOB in my hand outside. When the fob is my pocket, the range narrows to maybe 10 feet. Without using the fob button, it’s closer to 1-2 feet before the car unlocks automatically. I presume the Model X auto-door opening feature has a similar distance. If you have your fob next to your cell phone (< 2"), it may be blocked entirely from working (which is true of all cars).
Great information regarding TESLA products. THANKS.
