If you don’t like the chrome or tire rim colors, you alter the look. Colors and finishes include gold, gun-metal, red, white, grey or black. Often these services are expensive due to the amount of labor involved removing parts, plating or painting a new finish and re-installing them. That said, it can give you a very distinctive look.
There are also kits available to change the look without part removal that you can do yourself such as Plasti Dip Spray. Here are some great images over at TMC with changes to a Model S, but can be applied to any car S/X/3.
