How it Began
I started looking at Tesla back in 2007, and strongly considered getting a Roadster, but alas, it was not easy for me to get in and out of being so low to the ground. With early hopes dashed for an EV, we got invited to the Model S unveiling. It was so cool I ordered one the next day in 2009. Before I got my new car, I created TeslaTap.com in late 2012, when few people had even heard of Tesla. After getting my Model S, I liked it so much, I co-authored a book on it!
Well, it’s been an exciting 14 years at the helm of TeslaTap and owning multiple Tesla vehicles, but it’s time to move on. I hope you’ve enjoyed the content on our site and our monthly newsletter.
Going Forward
TeslaTap.com delivers unique information and content not available elsewhere. Still, there are excellent websites such as Munro Associates technical videos; Youtubers like The Limiting Factor and Ingineerix offering impressive analysis; news sites like Autoline, and the king of forum sites, TMC. In addition, there is boundless information on social media such as Twitter/X.
What if I need TeslaTap.com?
