Description

Offer an option to force a manual wiper interval rather than automatic. Interval time might also have an option.

One way the interval could be set is by using a double push on the wiper/washer button and ended by the next push. It would make it much easier to accommodate the rain level and avoid having to take your eyes off the road in case of a sudden rain burst, or when the wiper speed needs to be changed.

Status

The design changed on the mid-2021 S/X from 4 settings – 2 auto selections and 2 continuous selections to 5 settings – Auto, 2 intermittent selections, and 2 continuous selections.  You can also turn it off or have a single wipe, as before.

Must be a Model 3 specific request...  Model S has this feature: push in slightly on wiper stalk. Push in all the way to dispense washer fluid.

I agreed before and found the wiper interval always too slow, until ... I treat my glass with (any different) protective wax. This is so much of a difference, it enhances view and safety. Now the interval is always too fast, but no longer annoys.
