I would agree with this feature if it were not outrageously expensive to instal.

I agree with hdsmfrance - This is one of those things that it would be *so easy* to configure just as you want it if only Tesla would make much, much more use of the touch screen.  All the required hardware is already in place.  The extra safety cue the car could provide would be very useful especially in outside temperatures approaching freezing when patchy black ice can be so dangerous.  The traction control system would be perfect to give the driver early warning of these conditions and allow him/her to modify their driving style accordingly.  A few extra lines of code is all it would take.

 

I'd like a brief sound alert with the traction control icon flashing for a good 5 seconds and maybe some suitable text popping up somewhere... MW

Sorry but does'nt really exist the alert is lasting such quickly and so small that most of the time you will never see it happened!!

like on many cars should be bigger (you have to adapt your driving) and last longer (10s or so) so that you could really be aware of the danger.
