Date would be nice; certainly enough real estate to include it.  Would also be nice to have option to increase the size of the time/date font.

Us oldsters need the date so we can get the twilight dinners on the correct date.  Also, the no parking for street sweeping on the third Friday of every month (or whatever) when we go to see friends.  The date (Day of the week and date)  would be very helpful.
