Normal car covers are rather simple, but there are two quirks to be aware of for the Tesla Model S and X. First if you want to charge with the cover on, ideally, you’ll need a hole for the charger connector. When charging, the HVAC may activate to cool the batteries. This means the front lower air inlets can’t be covered. In addition, there is heated air that leaves through the wheel wells.
